ICA (Industria Chimica Adriatica S.p.a.) is one of the biggest Italian manufacturers of wood coatings. Claudio Paniccia founded the company in 1971 in Civitanova Alta.

Over the course of the following decades, the company implemented several expansion programs: 1974 saw the initial expansion of the ICA facilities within Industrial Zone B launched in 2003 in Civitanova Marche. ICA

In 2004, ICA acquired the wood coatings arm of BASF Coatings, giving rise to a new company by the name of Salchi Wood Coatings: among the primary objectives of the takeover was the relaunch of SALCHI, a longstanding brand in the wood coatings sector.

ICA is a manufacturer of high-quality wood coatings (UV coatings, water based coatings, solvent based coatings), stains, water based glassware coatings, plastic coatings/PVC, glues for parquet floors. The main receivers of these products are producers of furniture, woodwork shutters and designers of interior decoration.
